Earth Day, which falls on April 22nd every year, is a day celebrated across the globe, as we take the time to talk about how we can be responsible stewards of this earth. On Earth Day, some people plant trees, some communities hold huge beach cleanups, and children all over learn more about how we can take care of our beautiful planet. We’ve rounded up some of the best printables and links for you to use with your children and students to help celebrate this important day!

Earth Day Writing Papers | Elementary Matters
This is a great set of writing papers with an Earth Day theme- perfect if you have children writing! Use some prompts such as “what can you do to keep the earth clean?”, “what do you love most about the earth?” or “write a story about keeping the earth safe” and see what your students come up with! If you don’t have writers, it’s always fun to have a student dictate a story or their answers for an adult to record, then have them illustrate! (This page also has an earth day theme book list and a song!)
